2D Design : Self Portrait

Apparently in 2D Design class we're suppose to make a self-portrait out of natural elements. what joy! All of us came out with very interesting portrait. At 1st I had some problem to begin my self-portrait but it's all good. I manage to come up with something. So , do enjoy le work! :D

So yeah. Don't we look like twins? LOL no? Anyways let me just talk about my work a litter bit. Let's start with the hair , as you can see in my work I used the orange skin and over lapping it , this kinda made it look wavy , I have wavy hair. Moving on to the eyes , I cut out 2 rectangle shape plastic for my glasses. I choose plastic cause it kinda gives out the reflecting effect and I also use two can cap opening thingy I have no idea what that thing call ._. as my eyes. Also I use pasta for my face. The pasta kinda made my face look like its full of pimple hahah. As for my mouth , leaves have been used for lips and a tiny stick of the outline. Last but at least the nose , I used a flower cause flower gives out a nice smell and I use my nose to smell things :D that's how the human nose works. OH! one last thing , see the small little ball thing on my forehead *yes do scoll up :] Its the light thing from the angler fish.
I put it in my work cause I like sea creatures. So yeah , that's all I wanna say about my work. Hope you like it.
