Batik
08:25

Hey everyone!

On the 27th of November, we had a trip to a batik factory. There we have learn how to create batik and how batik was used. There are so many beautiful batiks there. All of us have a chance to create a batik art work there. and so i have use all the 2-D principles to help me create this batik art work. The motif of this art work was a gift to my mother. Actually her birthday is on the 27th of November, so i have decided to make a present for her while im here at the batik factory. My mother loves to garden, she love flowers, any kind of  flowers, she likes to smell them and plant them. So that is why i pick calla lily as my flower. i have used pink-purple and blue as my colour of my flowers because pink-purple is my mother's Favorited colour so it represents her ; as the blue flower is me because blue is my favorite colour. I have use black as my background colour because it helps make my flowers stands out. So this are the things i would like to say about my batik art work.
Thank you and have a nice day! :D

Tessellation
08:12

YO PEOPLE!
This time we were ask to do a few art work of tessellation. without any delays, lets get to it :

1. Figure & Ground ( Black and Withe ) - i have picked fish as my icon in this tessellation.

 2. Proximity ( Grey scale )- In this tessellation , i have picked oranges aka a kind of fruit as my subject.

3.  Similarity ( 1 colour 1 black ) - i pick yellow as my colour. and this is a honey comb. Honey comb is a sweet smelling object. so i have decided to use this as my subject for this tessellation.

4. Alignment ( 3 colours ) - i have you light blue , dark blue and black for my colour. In this tessellation, i have use people as my icon. as you can see it is like all these people are lining up.

5. Closure ( 1 colour plus white ) - white plus black are the colous i used. These are many wheels over lapping each other to created closure.

 6. Continuity ( 2 colour ) - as you can see these are elevator. it is seems like they are continuing. I use red and green in this art work.

that is all. hope you have enjoy! PEACE OUT!

2-D Principle
07:51

 HEY YO!!
we were ask to do few paper cutting using 2-D principles. so here are my art work :

1. Dominates - as you can see the tree is the dominates. it is right in the middle and there are arrows pointing towards it.

 2. Rhythm - you can see that the rounded dot are places with a rhythm.

3. Hierarchy - in this art work you can see that its like a food chain pyramid. The green grass > chickens > human beings.

  4. Repetition - it is a repetition of a creeper's face. A creeper is one of a character in minecraft.

5. Scale - its a scale from a big rectangle to the smallest rectangle.

 6. Asymmetrical balance -
 7. Symmetrical balance -
 8. Movement - As you can see through the wave-y of the paper, it creates a sense of movement.

That is it for 2-D principle through paper cutting! CIAO!
